Christmas Light Appeal (Bring magic to our family of 365 Children)
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...
Another year is coming to an end, and across our homes, 365 children and vulnerable adults are preparing for a Christmas filled with joy, gratitude, and a feeling of belonging.
2025 has been another amazing year filled with healing and hope... 54 new children found a safe and loving home in our care this year; this equals one new child per week.
We had 36 children starting school this year, 40 new four-legged family members joined our rescue shelter, and an estimated 1,200 trips were made to the hospital - most of which brought healing and care to the most vulnerable of our children. Sadly we also had some goodbyes to say in the past months... Gladness, Alvin, Helen, Purity, and Victoria will be dearly missed by all of us as we reflect on this year and count our miracles and blessings.
This Christmas, we invite you to help us shine a warm and loving light into the hearts of the children and vulnerable adults in our care - and into the homes of families in our community who need support the most.
We wish to share a special Christmas celebration with all of the children in our care, including meaningful gifts, a shared meal with the whole family, and an unforgettable day trip for each child.
Beyond there, we have had some special wishes this year too - hammocks for children with sensory needs, night lights for those healing from trauma, art materials and chessboards to open new worlds of creativity, walking frames, medical beds, and many more items that bring comfort, healing, and growth.
Our Christmas Outreach Hampers will include essentials such as a mattress, mosquito net, food, and clothing and will share a little Christmas magic with those families most in need around us.

Our new Children's Home in Dodoma is close to completion and will open its doors to an additional 96 children in the coming year!
We hope to shine a Christmas light into each room, filling the house with warm beds, decorations, and toys to ensure that every child will find comfort, healing, and a beautiful new beginning in their new home.
Every $20 provide a Christmas gift for a child; $25 give one child an unforgettable Christmas day trip; every $40 can support one month of full-time education and school equipment for a child; $100 can share a life-changing Christmas hamper for a family in need and every $250 raised will gift a safe, warm, fully furnished room with bed, mattress, and mosquito net for a child entering our care from crisis.
Together we can spread the light of Christmas magic a little further this year, straight into every heart that we are blessed to be guardians of...
We are forever grateful for all the love, miracles, and support that all of you keep sharing with the children... It is the very lifeline of what makes our family what it is...
