In many parts of Tanzania, children are not in school -not because they don’t want to learn, but because they simply can’t afford to.
Instead, they’re found working in stone breaking quarries, fields, on construction sites, or as house-girls and boys in households, trying to help their families survive. Childhood slips away far too soon, and with it, their chance at education, health, and a brighter future.
Through our Child Laborer’s Fund, we work to rescue these children from exploitative labor and offer them a path to freedom.
