Our Vision
At The Creator Share Foundation, our vision is to alleviate poverty and the suffering it brings to children in rural Tanzania. We are committed to creating sustainable, self-supporting communities that provide care, education, and hope to the most vulnerable.
Founded by John St Julien in 2014, our mission began with a single act of compassion and has grown into a movement that supports over 1,000 children with full-time education, medical care, and essential services. Our approach is rooted in the principles of permaculture, aiming to turn the natural processes of the earth into an industry that supports the children in our care, provides salaries for caregivers, and contributes to the development of the communities we serve.
Our long-term goal is to create a blueprint for a self-replicating charity model that minimizes environmental impact and benefits surrounding ecosystems. By teaching children and their families sustainable farming practices, we aim to increase food security and stability in a region where 95% of people rely on farming for their food supply.
In our children's villages, we provide a loving home, access to therapy, education, and medical care for children with special needs. Our new project, the "Invisible Children Masterplan," aims to establish Africa's largest special needs children's village, offering a safe environment where children can live and develop without stigmatization.
We believe in restoring dignity, restoring the environment, and restoring hope. By sharing the resources we have access to, we can end inequality, hunger, and lack of education. As our founder John often reflects, "Each week, can I share the cost of a cup of coffee to give a child an education?"
Our work is supported by our registered entities: The Creator Share Foundation UK Charity (Charity No. 1169474), The Creator Share Foundation International NGO Tanzania (Registration No. NGO/1893), and The Creator Share Charity, US 501(c)(3).
Together, we are building a future where every child is seen, valued, and given the opportunity to thrive.
