Environmental & Community Projects
Why Are These Projects Needed?
The children in our care are not with us for a short time - they are with us for life. That’s why it is essential to build self-sustaining systems that not only feed and care for them today, but ensure stability, dignity, and opportunity for the future. In Tanzania, food insecurity, environmental degradation, and lack of income-generating opportunities leave many families - especially those caring for children with special needs or multiple grandchildren - struggling to survive.
Often, it is elderly grandparents or sick guardians who are left to care for several children with no source of income or physical strength to support them. Meanwhile, unsustainable farming practices, poverty, and climate challenges continue to threaten the long-term wellbeing of communities and the natural world around us.
We believe that true change means addressing both people and the planet - restoring dignity to vulnerable families while nurturing the Earth that sustains us.
What Do We Do to Solve It?
At The Creator Share Foundation, we are building solutions that last. Our environmental and community projects are designed to support self-sustainability, not only for our children's villages, but for the surrounding communities as well. Some of our core efforts include:
Permaculture and Sustainable Farming
At our Children's Villages, we’re developing food farms based on regenerative agriculture. These farms are worked by special needs young adults, single mothers, and community members, providing organic food for the villages while offering meaningful employment and training.
Supporting Vulnerable Families
We work with elderly caregivers, single parents, and families with sick or disabled members to provide business opportunities, access to education, and daily necessities. Our aim is to share emergency support where needed and also help build stable income sources, enabling them to care for their families with dignity and strength.
Tutawalinda, swahili for "We will protect you", is our community outreach and education program focused on raising awareness about child abuse, trafficking, and neglect. We work together with police, local government and church leaders to empower communities to speak up and take action.
